New members are always welcome! We accept new singers of all levels – no experience necessary.

 

Shir Chadash has participated in a wide range of concerts, from festivals to solo recitals and fundraising benefits. Shir Chadash’s mission is to challenge, enrich, and delight our singing members and audiences through the excellence of our performances.

We prefer singers to join us at the start of each concert cycle, in September or January, but we do accept singers mid-cycle on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to Scott Stein, chorus director, directly for more information.

The chorus meets for rehearsals September through June on Tuesdays from 7:30-9:30pm. Rehearsals take place at Park Slope Jewish Center, on the corner of 8th Avenue and 14th Street in Brooklyn.
